Its indeed a great news. More of International Airlines should be allowed to land in Mangalore like Emirates, Qatar Air, Gulf Air, Kuwait Airways. Most of this airlines go to Europe/US/Canada, it will be more benificial for those travelling with these airlines without touching Mumbai, Bangalore or Chennai.

Why there is no additional flight to Doha-Qatar.? There are many Indian residents from around Mangalore and northern part of Kerala are here in Qatar, which we all like to have daily one flight to Mangalore, also the timing to be changed to evening time, where all of us loosing one day leave as we have to head to Airport in the morning. Please consider the grievance of Dakshina Kannada people and neighbouring keralites. Also kindly compare the progress between Kozikode Airport and Mangalore Airport, which started few years ago.

Good thought by AIEXP. an alternative to people from Dubai & Northern Emirates as by the time you come out of the Airport and reach your destination it will be quite late in the night here in UAE making it difficult to resume duty the next day. If not daily atleat 3  day flights per week especially on Thurday & Saturday will really help.
