Kuwait, Jan 21: Auditions for Kuwait contestants taking part in the first Gulf Voice of Goa will be conducted on January 26 at Indian Community School, Khaitan.
Eligible contestants, enthusiastic singers, young and old, amateurs or professionals, known or unknown, etc, may apply at the earliest.
Contestants from Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar can still register online at www.gulfvoiceofgoa.com.
Gulf Voice of Goa is a Konkani singing competition to be held in Kuwait at Khaldiya University Auditorium on February 22.
The competition is open for Gulf residents of Goan origin aged 16 and above. The grand eventis being organized by Goan Cultural Centre, Kuwait.
2 participants from each country will be shortlisted for the grand finale that will see the crowning of best Gulf Goan male and female singers.
A number of gifts, trophies, and cash prizes will be awarded to the participants and winners.
The event is supported by well-known Goan NRIs in the Gulf namely Carmo Santos, Agnello Fernandes and Bosco Leitao (Kuwait), Simon D’Silva (Doha Qatar), Gabriel Crasto and Francis Correia (Bahrain), Gabby de Chandor (Dubai), Anthony Lourenco (Muscat) and Joe Fernandes (Saudi Arabia).
Registrations are open. Bahrain contestants will be announced soon.
