'Ghajini' should be an 'Adults Only' Film: Sharmila Tagore

Zee News

Mumbai, Jan 20: It seems that the Censor Board chairman, Sharmila Tagore has got miffed with Aamir’s ‘Ghajini’. Tagore recently lashed out against her own officers for releasing ‘Ghajini’ with a U/A certificate.

The reaction comes after a petition filed by a city-based activist who had sought a stay on the release of the film since it contains excessive gore and should be therefore allotted an 'A' certification.

In an exclusive interview to a news daily, a rather peeved Sharmila said “The U/A tag means that kids can see the film with the consent of their parents. I have already spoken to my regional officers and told them that I am very upset with them for releasing such a violent and gory film for kids. I told them that they should have released it only for adult audiences.”

Sharmila, who hasn’t seen the flick herself till now added, "I have not watched the film myself but I have been flooded with complaints. Till now, I have not found a single person who thought that kids should be allowed to see ‘Ghajini’."

The Censor Board has as of now sought a week's time to reply to the PIL filed at the Bombay High Court.

Oh Dear! Where were these sharmilas and tagores when the time of films release. Now after the film made a stupendous success as an alltime blockbuster collecting more than 2 billion rupees world wide and the censor board came out from cemetery. If they want to give this movie 'A' Cirtificate, then there are lot of films to be given same rating including some of her son's movies.

Now a days there is no film releases without couple of item songs, filmed with actresses wearing skimpy revealing dresses may it SRK film or salman's and the film gets clean chit. why there is no such iota when the KNHK, salam namaste,KANK,Dostana,OSO,Hello ......... Got released. Are the childrens knows about Gay Or adultery?
