Kundapur, Feb 3: Deputy commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis on Saturday, February 2 lashed out against Navyug Company which has dug Beejadi service road during last few days, put gravel on it and left the work incomplete.

The deputy commissioner upon receiving complaints from locals called Navyug Company team, walked with them from Beejadi service road U-turn to Beejadi Y-junction curve, inspected the work and took the engineers to task. “How will students, elderly persons and locals walk on the road the whole day long? There are no borders on either sides of the road. There is no question of giving you more time when there are risks here. If you do not resume work on Monday, your company will be blacklisted, legal action will be taken against you and emergency measures will be taken up,” she said. Tahsildar Tippeswamy and team of Navyug Company officials were present.

“More than 80 accidents have occurred here from 2015 to 2019. Five people have lost their lives. Residents and shop keepers have become sick because of dust here. No highway work in Kundapur is completed. Street lights do not work. There are no safety borders on either sides of the highway. But payment of toll is made compulsory,” explained local journalist Aishwarya Beejadi to the deputy commissioner.

Locals took Navyug Company engineers and National Highway Authority officer Samson to task. “Besides delaying works for so many years, you have dug the road making us difficult to walk about. We are scared when we walk on this stretch looking at the vehicles plying on upper part of highway. Who is responsible if those vehicles topple?” they asked.

I salute the work of DC. Stand for betterment and good for public services. Where are those elected leaders alive or sleeping?. Based on this report 80 accident and 5 lives lost. If one time something happens to those elected leaders or their families on this road they will feel the pain. DC has shown real gut and professionalism towards the cowards.of the company dont know why this company has not doing the job where many companies waiting for more jobs so that they have business. Check the background of this company who is the owner and any politician is part of it. If yes drag.that politicians to the road and ask him to answer why this work has delayed and any monitory benifits he or she received from such contract. Shame on such leaders.

Perhaps Prime Minister Modi's India is the only place in the world were motorist have to pay toll for incomplete roads.
It is very recently Delhi-Meerut expressway inaugurated by PM Modi starts cracking just after first few rain spells. Due to the majority of the stretch still under construction, puddles of water are creating havoc for the passers-by. This comes only days after monsoon was welcomed by cheery residents.
However, what PM Modi inaugurated was just a 9-km long road completed so far in the capital; the actual expressway will be ready in 2020. After the road show, he took a helicopter ride with Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to launch the 135-km eastern peripheral expressway for signal free travel that will allow vehicles to pass through Palwal, Faridabad, Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida) and Ghaziabad without entering Delhi.
Since its inauguration with a spectacular roadshow held the people spellbound, the expressways have raised questions on its quality and feasibility.
The BJP made use of Twitter to showcase its achievements in five years with the help of photos of long-pending projects getting completed but after a Fact Check team found they used wrong pictures.
In the west or the Middle East, any company that is unable to complete the project in the stipulated time frame is subjected to a heavy penalty. But only in India companies owned by BJP leaders can charge motorist even before its full handover.

    Dont bluff so much
Nitin Gadkari is not related to Navyug
Remember Kejriwal had said sorry before or else would have been arrested for false accusation
There are reports that Jagan Reddy is related to Navyug
