Though I reside at Mumbai, I have been a regular visitor to mangalore and what I have seen and read about the city only makes me hold my head in shame. Why is that a city so beautiful, comopolitian by nature with all the religions could stay in harmony has deteriorated so badly over the years??? Few months back it was the attack on churches and nuns in particular, that too by the so called law keepers... now it is on women in pub!!  Are we going the way " Pakistan and Taliban " has gone? Have we become so intolarent towards women? or is it pure jealousy?? It is the time our CM, our police come out the stuper and take action against the culprits and punish them severely. We cannot allow Karnataka, particularly Mangalore to become one more lawless city of UP or Bihar. Pl spare my city from this shame...

And ofcourse not to forget the parents...Parents U don't worry about your growing up girls and boys...there are watchdogs arround them so that they reach home on time anymore....there is a saying..." Every policeman is a citizen with uniform and every citizen is a is a policeman without uniform" but tragedy is that here " every B.dal or Rama sena member is a police cum terrorist without uniform...!"

Dear Anitha, I understand we are living in a democratic country where everybody has their rights of speech and etc etc. but that does not mean that being an educated person anybody can comment like an uneducated person as you have done here. First of all you said business has been going on in evening and what business? for your kind information business has no time limit and other factors.

Secondly you said where are the cars for decoration. please try to undersyand that nobody will lift the cars on their head and come here for decoration 0n the spot. maybe these girls came for discussion about the deal and then maybe they would have decided what to be done on this after they return back.

 Whatever it is, its nothing concern for any person to interfere in others work unless you see in your eyes that something against the law is going on and there areauthorities to do that. so kindly dont talk about education and uneducation if you dont understand education. maybe it would be helpful to give some tips to those miscreants how to behave like humans and not animals in this peaceful and loving city of mangalore.

Any Arrests??? I am sure NOT! What if they arrested someone? Nothing! They will be let Scot Free, within days or hours! It's just that the way the present Karnataka State Government, bullies people and lets its DAL's take law into their hands. The country is taking the brunt of terrorists, recession and countless other issues, and these so called religious police go around attacking helpless people.

I think its time, the common people understand the motives of these and pressurize the Central Government to act against the present biased State Government. Book the culprits and bring them under the hammer and deal with them in such a way, that people in Mangalore can lead a peaceful and safe life. Is anybody listening???

I have commented earlier about criminal activities and involvement of the State Government of Karnataka aiding such activities. Yet once again I state here that as long as the state government maintains soft corner to its associate’s further attacks will continue. I blame the State Government and the law-enforcement Department for failure to stem such miscreants, criminals, thugs and vandalizer’s activities. This is nothing but TALIBANIZATION OF KARNATAKA.

Karnataka is currently ruled by BJP which stands for Bharatiya Janata Party. As state is ruled by them, they have given liberty to Janata (public) for maintaining law and order situation not only in Mangalore but Karnataka as well. Recent terrorist activities which had confirmed involvment of people working for defence have bent upon to continue terrorising activities and pretend that such activities are sponsored by a specific community who are scape goats.

Our home minister Mr.Acharya had failed to maintain the law and order situation and situation has arised to change his portfolio of ministry. I hope Mr. Ediyurappa will act on this without loosing further time.

Karnataka, and India in general has gone to the DOGS! Very difficult for India to grow when there are internal activities like this going on. There are many groups in India who take law in their own hands which is ridiculous. In a developed country a civilian can not even touch a robber, the law will deal with him, not the civilian. Basic human rights. But in India, a small doubt or a small mistake by a person is dealt by local people and groups who get together and almost kill the accused. And then the cops and officials come and just disperse those people without even taking them to courts for further action. Since the time BJP is ruling Karnataka, this has started happening frequently in Mangalore. Mangalore was a place where there were only small problems and used to get solved quickly. But now if there are NO attacks and NO goondagiri then it is news. God save INDIA!
