New Delhi, Mar 24 (IANS): The national capital on Sunday woke up to a pleasant, sunny morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 15.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky is expected to remain partly cloudy and there are possibilities of development of thunder lightning later in the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m., was recorded at 59 per cent.
The day's maximum temperature is expected to hover around 31 degrees Celsius.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 30.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 16.6 degrees, both a notch below the season's average.
