Mangaluru, Mar 27: ‘Gandhada Kudi’, children’s adventure film will hit screens in Karnataka on March 29. The film has already bagged 21 awards. It is directed by Kanasu Theredaga film director Santhosh Shetty Kateel and prepared under Invenger Technologies banner by K Sathyendra Pai and K Krishna Mohan Pai.
“The film was produced in Hindi as ‘Chandanvan’. It has received more than 20 international awards in India, San Diago, Mexico and Chile. It has received appreciation from world class film experts and considered as one among the best films,” said film producer Sathyendra Pai in a press conference.
“The film which has commercial touch uncovering the global impact in stages due to destruction of Western Ghats is enriched by technology. The efforts of director who sends a serious message through children by comedy can be seen in the film. The film has stunning story, simple portrayal and effective acting by senior and junior artistes, background music, and beautiful locations selected for shooting. The film holds the concentration of the audience from beginning till the end,” he said.
The film has made noise in global level. Its audio is already released. The song sung by well known actor Vijay Prakash praising the Kannada land and culture has become popular in U tube.
Direction by Santhosh Shetty Kateel
Santhosh Shetty who has experience of being assistant director in arts department in Bollywood films like ‘Mangal Pandey’ and ‘Jodha Akbar’ is the animation expert in the film. His film ‘Kannu Teredaga’ as director had received international award. Now he has directed this unique film ‘Gandhada Kudi’. However it is sad that he passed away before the release of the film.
Artistes
Child artistes in main roles, Mumbai Nidhi Sanjiva Shetty, Indian origin Americans Keesha, Ashlin, Pranathi, Vignesh, Shreesha, Shreyas and others draw attention by their enthusiastic acting. Well known veteran actor of Kannada, Ramesh Bhat, national award winner Shivadhwaj Jyothi Rai, Arvind Shetty Kojakolli, Deepak Shetty, Yogish Kotian, GP Bhat and others have made their parts lively. It has Sachin Shetty and Laxmish Shetty’s study cam photography, Raviraj Ganiga’s editing, Pradeep Rai’s arts direction and co direction of Preetha Menezes.
Music
There are four songs in the film. Razak Puttur has written lyrics and dialogues. Prasad K Shetty has directed music. Lahari has the audio rights. Well known singers of south India, Vijaya Prakash, Shreya Jaideep, Prakash, Mahadev, Ravi Mishra, Sathvi Jain and Lathesh Poojary have sung the songs.
K Krishna Mohan Pai, Prasad K Shetty, Nidhi Shetty, Narasimha Mallya, Arvind Shetty, Razak Puttur, Raviraj Ganiga and Chetan were present in the news conference.
