Panaji, Jun 23: Francisco Sardinha, Member of Parliament from south Goa, on Saturday said he will adopt Khola village, which was previously adopted former BJP MP Narendra Sawaikar under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY).
He also promised to complete the work that was left incomplete by Sawaikar and his aim is to turn Khola into a model village. Sardinha urged people to let him know the issues that they are facing so that he could raise the same in the Parliament.
The mining and CRZ issues which were not properly presented in Parliament previously, will be done now, said Chandrakant Kavalekar Leader of opposition. Amit Deshmukh Goa Congress desk-in-charge appealed members to start working to ensure that the party wins the upcoming assembly polls.
