Firstly, I would like to thank the highly organized team of MASA for making "SAMBRAMA" such a grand success. A very crucial reason- to why MASA is doing extremely well is due to its ability in putting on a great show. Undoubtably MASA has had some luck in getting extremely talented performers who have worked hard and contributed in making this event a feast for ones eyes. I really apprfeciate our spontaneous audience, who played a vital role in raising and maintaining the ambience during the show. And finally, thank you for such graceful comments you have posted up here. Madhav Amin/ President MASA

Thanks for sharing the joyful gathering of Mangalorean Association thru the "Sambrama" that commemorated the second Anniversary. Sevenhundred people gathering must have been a festival of colors and talents in the city of Dammam, which brings in us so many precious memories of the past. We lived in Dammam for almost twenty years thirty years ago, and have fond attachment to the land of Dammam because we made some of the best friends of the world in Dammam Town that was a small but a very friendly and hospitable Arab village. Our first son was born in Mangalore whereas our second son was born in Dammam.

Both the sons travelled every day from Dammam to Dhahran to attend the American Consulate school. We owe a great deal of our heritage to Dammam because we learnt so much of "Internationalism" thru the dedication of our hard work by blending our Indian/Mangalorean culture with many other cultures of the world, particularly the nomadic Arab culture.

Thank you Dammam for being such a gracious host for twenty years, and we shall always remain grateful for all that you have given us. "Inshallah", If and when we visit Dammam, we shall certainly remember to inform the Mangalorean Association so that we can share a simple bread and share so much of pride and joy of the past.
