DKS turns emotional as ED refuses to allow offer prayer for late father

Bengaluru, Sep 2 : Former minister and senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar turned emotional as Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials, probing the alleged money laundering case, called him for questioning on Monday, September 2 to Delhi. ED has reportedly rejected the request of former minister to offer prayers for his late father during the Ganesha Chaturthi festival. 

In a video recorded by Public TV, DKS was seen visibly emotional and blamed BJP leaders for playing dirty politics. 

"What makes me cry is that the BJP and ED officials did not allow me to offer prayers for my father. It's fine. I will offer my prayers from the ED office to my father and grandmother that their souls rest in peace." Shivakumar told reporters in New Delhi. 

 

On Friday evening at around 6.30 pm, the Congress leader appeared before the ED for questioning. This was after the Karnataka High Court refused to grant him protection from the summons. Shivakumar was questioned by ED officials in New Delhi on Saturday as well. Monday is the third day of questioning by ED officials in connection with the cases against him. 

ED had issued summons related to Rs 7 crore money laundering case. His other business partners, Sunil Kumar Sharma, the proprietor of Sharma Travels, Karnataka Bhavan employee Anjaneya Hanumantha and Sunil Kumar Sharma’s driver N Rajendra are also linked to the case.

    That means is it true that late siddarth of Coffee Day has surrendered to suicide because of the torture IT people have given him. Whatever it is ED should have considered DKS genuine request as well as considering the auspicous day of Ganesh Festival. Only one day makes no that much difference

    1. B.S. Yediyurappa: He has become Karnataka’s chief minister again despite being the very image of corruption in Karnataka. Accused in land and mining scams, with diaries recovered from his possession showing hefty amounts being paid to top BJP leaders, judges and advocates, Yediyurappa today stands tall, acquitted of most of the charges.
    2. Reddy brothers of Bellary: Before the Karnataka elections in 2018, the CBI quickly concluded its investigations into mining scams worth Rs 16,500 crore against the Bellary brothers without pursuing the cases to their logical ends.
    3. Himanta Biswa Sarma: The BJP had waged a full campaign, even releasing a booklet, accusing Sarma of being the “key suspect” in the water supply scam in Guwahati. The scam is known as the Louis Berger case.
    4. Shivraj Singh Chouhan: The CBI in 2017 gave then-Madhya Pradesh chief minister a clean chit in the Vyapam scam.
    5. Mukul Roy: Roy joined the party soon after the Enforcement Directorate had summoned him in the Narada ‘sting’ case.
    6. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’: He is India’s minister for human resource development. As Uttarakhand chief minister, he was at the center of two big scams: one regarding the land and the other regarding hydro-electric projects.
    . Narayan Rane: The BJP last year inducted former Maharashtra chief minister Narayan Rane into the party and made him a Rajya Sabha MP. The CBI and the ED are no longer rushing to investigate Rane or raid his properties. Rane has been accused of money laundering and land scams.

    Jesus said: “My people, you saw the widow’s mite as she placed a few copper coins into the Treasury, but it was all she had to live on. Some people only put in a token amount in the Sunday collection, when they could donate more. My people should be willing to share 10% of their income to My Church, your food shelves, and other worthy charities. I love a cheerful giver. He who gives his life to me does not expect any reward for his actions, since he is doing all that is good in order to please me. His work will become my work, and all his good actions will be the works of my spirit. He does not live anymore for himself but for me, he does not have to attract my attention, he already lives in my presence.

    I will be his protector; I will keep him alert when temptation comes. If he sins, he will humble himself and obtain my forgiveness, my grace will always bless him and what he offers me will be the object of my pleasure. When adversity comes into his life he will still put his trust in me and I will rescue him out of his distress. He will live for me and I will be always with him.
