Puttur: Dayanand Kukkaje’s ‘Ex-pose’ Photo Exhibition from Jul 25

Mangalore, Jul 22: A three-day exhibition of photographs by Daijiworld’s Dayanand Kukkaje titled ‘Ex-pose’ will be inaugurated on Saturday July 25, at the Press Club, Puttur.
It is being organized by Taluk Journalists’ Association, Puttur, and will be on till Monday July 27.
A seminar on photography will also be held alongside the exhibition.
Ace photographer Kukkaje will be focusing on rural life this time and the exhibition will have pictures taken during his travel in the rural areas of the coastal district.
This follows his exhibition in Mangalore, Banglore, Bantwal, and Kundapur displaying photos of the aftermath of the tsunami-hit areas of Chennai and Port Blair.
Kukkaje hails from Manila in Bantwal taluk and before turning to photo journalism, he was an artist and has worked with various styles of drawing.
He has been felicitated by many organizations and is also the recipient of several awards in photography contests at the state and national levels.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Ramachandra Rao, senior amateur photographer.
Dr Harish Kumar, assistant commissioner, Puttur, Rohini, assistant director, news and information department, Mangalore, and B Purandara Bhat, legal adviser, Taluk Journalists’ Association, Puttur, will be the guests.
Megha Paletthady, president, Taluk Journalists’ Association, will preside over the function. Ravi Posavanike, senior photographer, The Times Group, will conduct the seminar on photography.
