Puttur: ‘Ex-pose’ - Kukkaje’s three-day Photo Exhibition Begins

Puttur, Jul 26: Senior amateur photographer Ramakrishna Rao inaugurated ‘Ex-pose’, an exhibition of photographs by Dayanand Kukkaje, Daijiworld's ace photojournalist on Saturday July 25 at the Press Club.
The three-day exhibition has been organized by the Taluk Journalists’ Association.
Speaking after the inauguration, Rao said, “The ability of a photographer can only be seen through his photos and the exhibition ‘Ex-pose’ speaks of the skill of the photographer as the photos touch the heart with liveliness. I was at a loss for words after seeing the photos”.
Chief guest Rohini, assistant director, news and information department, Mangalore, said, “A photographer’s ability to sense the picture and grasp its specialty can be seen in his photos”.
B Purandara Bhat, legal advisor, Taluk Journalists’ Association, said, “Photography has got a new dimension when compared to the yesteryears. Nowadays, the photographer can express much more through his photos. Each one of the photos in this exhibition speaks of the effort behind it”.
Megha Paletthady, president, Taluk Journalists’ Association, presided over the function.
B Purandara Bhat felicitated Dayanand Kukkaje on the occasion.
Ravi Posavanike, senior photographer, Times Group, conducted a seminar on photography for students of journalism.
Samsuddin Sampya, secretrary of the Association, welcomed everyone while member Santhosh compered the programme.
The exhibition will conclude on Monday July 27.
