Udyavar woman attacks, injures housemaid with wooden stick

Daijiworld Media Network - Kaup (SP)

Kaup, Nov 5: A woman named Saraswati (20) has filed complaint in the police station here, alleging that Soumya from Udyavar, who had hired her, had attacked her with a wooden stick. Soumya resides near Lord Ganapathi temple in Udyavar.

The injured Saraswati has been admitted into the government hospital at Ajjarkadu. A case stands lodged in Kaup police station in this connection.

Reportedly, Saraswati had begun to work at the residence of Soumya three months back. Since the very beginning, it is said, she faced physical violence. On Monday morning, accusing her of losing the key of the house, Saraswati was given a thorough tongue lashing by her employer, and hit with wooden stick, it is said. Saraswati tolerated all these torture.

When Saraswati visited a nearby shop sometime later, some locals who saw wounds on her body, informed the Kaup police. The police arrived on the spot, noticed swelling and injuries all over Saraswati's body including her face, admitted her into hospital and registered a case.

Soumya also is from Gokarna in Uttara Kannada district. It is said that her husband works somewhere in north India. Allegedly, Saraswati was not paid any salary since she began to work here.

What a cruel animal is her employer?Does she not having any children?Should we handle one employee like the last one?No wonder we dont get any people to work at present. Now quick action is neesed.Dont send back this girl to her employer.Let him give her pay full first. Then she should be sent to a safe place to be employed elsewhere.I can give one name where she can work and will be looked after like a equal to us.There she can stay and work and get good pay and food too.First a heavy fine to present employer.Otherwise they will never learn.Previously such hitting employees ,and not giving proper food and lot of problems they were going through.Even salary too was miserable. There are still such employers exist and try it their anger o n them. They give no rights to them.but time has changed.only these poor north Indians are now because of their needy situation are their opfers.Give respect and you get back respect..

Why are humans so cruel? How you treat others is how you invite them to treat you. Humans should treat eachother with regard and respect. This employer should be fined heavenly to make her realize her mistake.

Soumya should be given min. 25 flogging and also make her pay Saraswati's medical claims if any. That must follow a months prison term.

Possibly Saraswati did not know that...

...most people need a personal punching bag.

So they marry and get a husband.

But if the husband is very busy with his work (or somewhere in the gadang), the maid becomes the temporary punching bag.
