Addressing media persons here on Saturday, he said the region has received an additional 30 per cent rainfall from the usual trend due to which most of the agricultural fields and the roads have been damaged.

The government has been urged to release additional fund for developing the roads. Once the rain ends and the amount is released, the roads will be repaired, he added. In order to find out a permanent solution to the transport problems of Hebri region, the much awaited Hebri-Sithanadi-Someshwara road works will be taken up soon. A sum of Rs one crore has been sanctioned and the tender process is also complete.

An additional sum of Rs 72 lakh has been granted for the reasphaltation. The works will commence once rainy season ends, the MLA said. Mr Bhandari Why are you waiting for the rain to stop to start repairing road works in Karkala.Where were you for so many years. Probably you got up from deep coma to see the road conditions. What about the money sanctioned and claimed from previous years from the governments.Who filled the pocket with those funds. Are you still greedy to make some more crores with your new false promises.

Please go near Mr DSOUSA/S House 3 kilometer from Belmon to mundkoor road. Why that bridge is pending for completion for so many years. Why you all have failed miserably to repair a small stretch of road next to that bridge.

Shame on all you all corrupt people.Belmon-Munkoor road is completely washed away from the inception of this road and no one has touched it even for a little repair.Did no one claimed money for the repair of this road for so money years? Now you want more funds from govt.to fill your pockets.

If you are sincere start work immediately and dont try to fool people every time.As a servant of your constituency spend the entire amount alloted to u by the govt.for the development work of your contituency. You people are habituated to talk only nonsence things without doing any thing.I will closely watch on the repair work of Belmond-Mundkoor road and will not hesitate to file case in the court if u fail to repair this road within a reasonable time limit.

By the way road should not be washed away within one months of the rain fall.Dont share the funds with the third grade Contractors.Thanks.
