Mangalore: Veenadhari to be Remembered at Programme on November 2

Mangalore, Oct 30: Veenadhari Memorial Awareness Campaign Committee has informed that a consultation meeting will be held at 4 pm on November 2 at the office of Padi-Valored office near Colaco Hospital, Bendorewell in the city, to commemorate the contributions of Veenadhari towards kindling a ray of hope and promise through her determination and positive approach towards the challenges the life posed to her. The meeting is being held on the second death anniversary of Veenadhari.

The organization said that the people need to continue to meet and hold discussions on various challenges being faced by the common people, including those of the HIV-affected persons and their families. This meeting will also serve as a preliminary meeting for the ‘Gadag Meet’, a convention being planned by many from the state, in memory of Veenadhari, after last year’s ‘Vorkady Meet’.
