Hemanth , the efforts should come quitely and decisively. Certainly not through showbiz. Dont get carried away. We have seen enough of this "natak" for the last 60 years. Even if the entire armoury of America is given to India nothing will stop the terrorists from attacking us. Intelligence and intelligence only can preempt any attack and save us.

we have to appreciate the efforts being made by the customs authorities to safeguardthe water fronts.Let all of us coperate and assist in whatever manner to feed information to the security agencies on anti-national elements insted of blaming the government or the security personnel.so, before pointing at others, let us point ourselves to check up what we have done for our nation. I won't hold my breath waiting for these guys to apprehend the next batch of terrorists coming ashore. We may partly close one door but there are many others that are open. The enemies know which ones they are and will use them. Show boating (pun intended), these two water crafts with out of shape personnel will not deter them. The solution is intelligence of the highest level. One advantage India has, and a dubious one at that, is that our sleuths beat the crap out of suspects and get them to sing like a canary. That alone has been the biggest source of intelligence for the country. Squeeze the information out and then "encounter" killing them has been the method used and has proven quite effective. The question is how many innocents have been slaughtered in the process.

Makes no difference. If Rana and Headlee are given visas and passed by immigrations what security are we talking about. Do we believe in preempting a strike OR wait for the terrorist elements to strike and and then react at the cost of innocent deaths. Obviously, the former requires intelligence, brains, skills and a fat budget. We have none of it.
