Quarantine is of 40 days March 23 to May 3. Ayappa devotees fasting for 40 days. Gautam Buddha fasted for 40 days. Lord Jesus fasted for 40 days. Prophet Mohammad fasted in cave for forty days. Christians fasting during lent period for forty days. Muslims fasting during ramzan for forty days. Sant Guru Nanak spent 40 days with sufi saint. Sindhi community observing festival of thanks giving for forty days. Year 20 plus 20 equal to forty.
Definitely changes to occur for better in coming days. Folks keep away from evil things like liquor upto May 3 at least...for betterment of the society.

It is not right to tell hotspot. Yellow zone is fine.
But incidents like yesterday (Kulur) should be avoided at any cost..
Social distancing 6 feet, mask compulsory etc.

DK has heavy international traffic with many working abroad. May be thats why it is recognized as hotspot.

International flights should be banned for a prolonged period unless fool proof checks like rapid testing are put in place!
Thermometer test is only for namesake, should not be depended upon!

Since DK had 12 positive cases, it was hotspot. Now, because, there is no new cases and many are recovering, it is reported out of red zone in NDTV. If no new outbreaks are reported within 28 days and all the existing patients recover, the area can be declared a green zone, the government has said.
