Bengaluru, Apr 18: On Saturday, April 18, state home minister Basavaraj Bommai, interacted with Kannadigas who are stuck at Dubai, through video conferencing facility. He promised to ensure that all the Kannadigas there are rescued and asked them to be cheerful, confident and look after their safety.

Bommai called upon Kannadigas settled in Dubai to come to the aid of poor Kannadigas at this time of crisis. He advised them to extend a helping hand to Kannadigas working there as labourers. "Once the current critical phase passes, the government of India will extend all kinds of facilities," he stated. At the same time, he asked them not to worry about their families back home." There is no need to worry. The government will take care of the families of Kannadigas in Dubai," he added.

In UAE, 35 lives have been claimed so far by Coronavirus infection. Dubai being a part of the UAE, close watch is kept on the situation. Unbroken curfew is in force here since two weeks and no one is permitted to step out of their houses. Indian community including a good number of Kannadigas have been working here and many of them are either eager or being forced to go back.

Even Pakistan govt sending flights to Dubai to take back their citizens. Philippines Bangladesh also did. Only India govt ignoring the stranded Indians. Modi saying he is helping all other nations but not helping Indians. Only publicity stunt & PR image building. He can fool bhakts but not all Indians. UAE & Kuwait govt very angry with Indian govt on this issue. They said in future Indians won’t be given employment.

Bommai Sir, just giving promises will not help. Start some action. Put pressure on Central. Start quarantine facilities only for NRIs. Kuwait started Airlifting their citizens from all around globe. They have made best quarantine facilities for their people. Now already amnesty is started for Indians and even they are ready to give free tickets. NRIs are not asking for free quarantine facility or test kits. Please take some serious decisions. Other wise there is chances all gulf countries will stop
Recruiting Indians in future and also they may send back thousands of People back India.
