Nice to hear the news of City Police Commissionerate in Mangalore. A city that produces maximum number of Doctors, Engineers, Dentists and Nurses. I hope the Police department will maintain transparency in its actions and in maintaining law and order. Hope the unlawful actions of the Police may reduce and the Police may change their behavior and become more human friendly for the general Public. The Police must understand that the city is accommodating people of different states who arrive here for education in Mangalore and they should create a good impression on the people by changing the attitude.

The Police system itself is not trained to deal the situations at many areas where students are threatened to vacate from entertaining places. The Police are not given training on Human Rights and violations of Human Rights are common among the Police. The Police have to change the language they use while talking to the general public. Sixty three years after independence the police language is filthy and abusive and due this people avoid reporting many social issues to the police.
