Catholic Cardinal wants people above 65 years to be permitted to attend Church

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 6 (IANS): On the eve of easing of lockdown norms, starting from Monday, when the places of worship are to be thrown open to public, the decision to not allow those aged above 65 years, has left the former president of the Catholic Bishops Conference of India disappointed over the decision.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, Cardinal Moran Mar Baselios Cleemis Catholicos, head of the capital city headquartered Syro Malankara Catholic Church, wished that the decision would allow all to come to the Church, when everything else is now opened.

"Today the situation is, following the easing of lockdown norms, shops, malls, restaurants, liquor vends all have opened, but there is a restriction on places of worship, especially with the cap on above 65 years age, which is not fair," said the 60-year-old Cardinal.

"We are ready to make special arrangements for such people when they come to the Church by even earmarking a special time for them," added the Cardinal who had cast his vote for electing the present Pope Francis.

He also pointed out that following the restrictions imposed during Covid times, all adhered to the directives including the Church.

" We served the 'holy communion' in the hands and not in the mouth," added the Cardinal when elevated to the post eight years back was one of the youngest.

Vaccines and WHO cannot be trusted and why?

WHO is mainly has become Bill Gates sponsored left leaning communist organisation for depopulation through virus and vaccination and for slowly communist take over of the world. Which is playing with evil viruses to bring their wicked godless agenda. Most of the Autism cases and Childlessness due to their wicked vaccinations, part of depopulation, which were made in name of protection against prevalent viruses some of which are lab made. What evil is planned with this new vaccinations for the current virus God only knows.

Following organisation are already setup for Global vaccination check and control such as ID2020, Gavi which are brainchilds of Bill Gates and other pro communist left democrat elites for communist style of control and rule also these viruses they use for closure of religious institutions so there are no prayers and they can do their evil agenda.

But it has been prophesied God would fix communist China and Russia with severe earthquakes at an appropriate time and also would remove wicked pro godless atheistic communists to bring lasting peace soon.

Also it is better to build immunity with available vitamins and immune building medicines so that one is not easily get infected.

"The Holy Mass is the summit of all Christian devotions, the most powerful prayer, because it is the re-enactment of my (Jesus') Passion and death."

And also holy mass is a celebration which requires active participation not just a visit.

But it was not practiced in early church. People merely gathered to pray together.

The practice came into vogue several hundred years after the time of Jesus.

Breaking the bread merely means the act of 'opening' the meals after prayers.

Among the Israelites (one tribe was/is Jews), the senior-most person leads the prayers at meals, and 'breaks bread'.

All Israelites broke bread EVERY DAY - and they were not followers of Jesus.

It has nothing to do with commemorating 'holy mass'.

That is what is written in that section of Luke's Gospel.

meals ?? but His Real Presence!!

    Jesus on Transubstantiation

"To choose to live in the Will of My Father means you must choose to believe in My Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. I never said the Bread of Life was a symbol or that the wine changed to My Blood was a symbol. If you interpret other parts of Scripture literally, why do you change the rules for this?

    Read Matthew 26:26-28+

Synopsis: Words of Consecration by priest at every Mass changing bread and wine into the Real Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ by means of transubstantiation.

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My Body." And He took a cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, saying, "Drink of it, all of you; for this is My Blood of the Covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

    Read John 6:52b-57++

"How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood, you have no life in you; he who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My Flesh is food indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed. He who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me will live because of Me."

The concern of the Cardinal is understandable. The Church attending crowd comprises 60% of 60+above people, 20% young parents and 20% children. If the first 60% is not let to attend, gradually the remaining 40% too will stop attending for obvious reason.

Church leaders' worry is not surprising.

Religious places are heaven on earth. Peace Calm away from world's noise, which, elderly very much need after their life long struggles and to remember more of God.

Definitely safe distance, different timings are necessary.

Although elderly are the most prone category, in the end when someone is called from this world nobody can stop it except God and this holds good for healthy or Old.

BTW with elders prayers to God and with their blessings virus could be vanished from this earth, as younger modern generation hardly knows to pray? Mostly elders only go to religious places, younger generation hardly interested visiting religious places.

In fact it is God's will by allowing this virus to bring back both young and old back to religious places to pray but communists may have planned other way around! with virus scare to cut off god and close religious institutions like their countries, ideology or may be slowly control the world and rule.

Anyways it is worthy to note God's plans are much better than Man's also as we have seen wrath of God in so many continuous natural disasters around the world, it is wiser to follow God and pray for everyone's protection and peace.
