Dubai: Bhatkal Muslim Jamaat Elects New Office-bearers

Dubai, Mar 4: Bhatkal Muslim Jamaat Dubai (BMJD) office-bearers were elected at the newly elected executive meeting held in Jamaat office, recently to elect the office-bearers of the strongest Jamaat of Bhatkal Community.
The election to the new executive body elected 37 exececutive members besides ten members nominated from the previous body. Janab Abdul Khadir Basha Ruknuddin (Mohammadappu) was elected new president followed by election of Moulana Hashim Nadvi and Janab Abdul Salam Damudi as vice-president and general secretary of the BMJD, respectively.
The function began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Moulana Hashim Nadvi and presided by Abdur Rehman Siddiqui.
