Kasargod, Aug 18: Two youngsters were found to have committed suicide here in Kumble on Tuesday, August 18. The deceased have been identified as Naikapu Vin Roshan aged (21) and Manikantha (19) resident of Kuntamgeradka near Kumble, Badiyadka.

The bodies of the two men were found hanging on a tree. They were reported to be missing since Tuesday evening. On reaching the spot, Kumble police shifted the bodies to Kasargod General hospital.

A preliminary report stated that Roshan and Manikantha were friends with a person who was under suspicion for the murder of Harish (38), a youth who was stabbed to death on Monday night. The police officials are also considering a possible link between the murder of Harish and the suicidal death of the two men.

As per reports, the police were closely investigating the murder case of the 38-year-old Harish who was butchered on his way home while he was returning from work at the oil mill. He was found murdered 100 meters away from his place of work.

Meanwhile, an investigation into the case is underway.

    These may not be suicides. They knew the person accused of a murder. They might have had some incriminating evidence against the murderer . So they might have been silenced by the murderer. Hope the truth will soon come out.

    Very Sad to hear Such Incidents ,Parents are taken so much efforts to grow them,
    May Allah give their family members more strength to control the feeling .
    Public should fight against Government for the purpose of educations and transparent systems ,
    Rather wasting and spending time going with divide and rule policy .

    A beautiful life wasted by this criminal life. I hold the parents responsible for not keeping a proper track of their children activities. Feel sad for the victim. May his soul RIP.

    Dear Mr Eric, just think of Mangalore.. men will go to work / business... majority of mangalorean women also do jobs... parents and children will be away most of the day time... children go to college / school.. influence of classmates, anti-social elements loitering around educational institutions (criminals/peddlers)... protection of children in these circumstances is not just responsibility of parents... it is the collective responsibility of citizens and Government...

    when one child in class is spoilt, other children also run the risk of being "infected"... similar to corona virus...

    @kbr

    You made a valid point...,
    In addition to bad impact of anti social elements on children.., the youth's mind is highly degenerated due to the influence of Self proclaimed nationalist ideology which has underlying/hidden political agenda..,

    The body language and the emotions reflect on the face of the deceased appears to be having Gau Rakshak connection..!!! Let the law keeping officials investigate this matter...,
