Thanks for all the comments and compliments. I would like to clarify to all the Kannadigas here that we have submitted an appeal to the Chief Minister to ease eligibility criteria for all Non Resident Kannadigas and not only for Bearys as reported. As of now our children who completes 10 2 abroad and wants to get into professional colleges under government quota in Karnataka is practically impossible due to the requirement of passing the Kannada language test.

Even if the student is able to clear the test, it is applicable only to those whose mother tongue is either Kannada, Tulu or Kodava and the rest of the recognized languages like Beary, Konkani and Urdu is left out. Hence we have appealed for a redress from the Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Congratulations & well done BWF, for raising NRI student’s admission issue with the minister. However we have to wait and see how sincere our minister is in his promise. Usually our visiting politician’s promise is as if that made on sitting on the Boja Raja's throne. These politicians’s forget their promise by the time they leave this country.

Secondly hats off to BWF for your charity works. Many of our Indian organizations need to learn from you.
