during our childhood (kid) we had to wait for our mother or some elder member to narrate same fake stories to kids so that some food would go inside. Now a days kids from the age of 2 are so glued to mobile or tab to watch cartoons and some kids games to fill their stomach. Such habit continues and the bad impact is known/realized only when it is too late to modify them. once addicted to mobile it's quite difficult to do away with it.

Generally I always blame parents coz they are the one who spend more time on WhatsApp messages & watch sick serials of 1,000 episodes & expect children to get good marks in the school. If elders are serious about it & show maturity the younger generation will follow them .

Moreover, children of Millennials generation needs special care / love / understanding coz they are exposed to all kind of evil which none of the generation is exposed till today.

Wont blame the parents here , but many times parents are not open with their children . They are usually unaware of their kids life. I had mental issues and always wanted to talk to someone as it affected me a lot. Parents must spend time with their kids , have friendly talks with their kids and try not to scold for petty reason.

We know our parents are having a tough time too cause of this pandemic and many will have to work overtime or jobless. This also puts a mental pressure on them. Its our responsibily as their kids to talk to them , provide them mental comfort . Its a request to all parents to make time for their kids too , and kids must equally not backanswer, disobey everything that your parents say . Many times parents want us to be good individuals and prosper in life. Their way of giving advice may differ , where one might scold or may calmly tell you why something is wrong. But we must be grateful for everything they do and provide us with.

Parents to be held responsible for her death. Who given her the mobile knowing the fact that this is a addicting device ! and there are no more things left in the life to do real work rather hanging around with SOCIAL MEDIA, TIK TOK etc etc . People bring some senses to those parents rather blaming the children. Find out the route cause then heal the ailment.

I have a relative who is 60 year old and is addicted to mobile to such an extent that he takes a break only for food and sleep.

We can see him chatting on mobile the entire day. He has joined so many groups and there is always someone or the other in some group sending messages. It has become an obsession for him and anyone questioning him or even having a look at his mobile invites anger from him. Even when he is watching television, the chatting on mobile does not stop and he keeps checking and messaging with very less involvement in all other things happening around him. If you take him to an outing in a car, he sits on the front seat and keeps chatting on his mobile.

So, wanted to make a point that it is not about youngsters and it is to do with self control which varies from person to person

    @ Kamath Sir,

Can it be the side effects of Nav Bharat syndrome and/or digital hindustan initiative....,

The age category you are talking may be adducted to toxic political news/debates/discussion etc.,
Me too about to walk into my 60's....was addicted to political toxic prime time Dombarata shows..., Now I am almost getting de-edicted to it..., limit myself to business/ economic news of importance...,

Without prejudice... may be Govt of the day keep the people of hindustan engaged to these kind of toxic news to divert the attention from real issues...., An army of cyber yodha's may be doing their part of the mandated job meticulously...

    A food for thought...

Gopinath Kamath Dakkerabalu.well there is difference between these two.Young girl is only 16years old,and not yet a matured one.no school, no work .or any other hobbys.from where the money comes to her for her hobbys?Parents have to shed. She was certainly sick with this mobile ,edict That makes one very aggressive, one who gives good advice too is not sure of their attacks even with weapons.Your friend is elder, but has the same symptoms .but had his good life behind of work or education. These days drugs are common like sweets in our time.may be the drugs was also taken who knows?Did anyone check or done a post martum?in such drugs consume many have the desire to suicide .That might be the reason?May her soul rest in peace.

I don't think anyone will take his/her own life just because of advising about mobile addiction unless there is a suicide note..the reason could be different. .
