Peter Andre Warns against Fake Profile on Facebook

Los Angeles, May 19 (IANS): Australian singer Peter Andre is upset after discovering an imposter is coning women into dates on Facebook under his name.

He has warned and advised his female fans to be careful and not to be deluded by the man, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"I was absolutely furious to discover a man has been pretending to be me, in order to seduce vulnerable, young woman. He set up a fake account in my name and asked one girl to send him pictures of herself, along with her email address and phone number," Andre said.

"He even tried to get her to meet up with him. Luckily this girl realized the guy was a fake before it was too late, but who's to say he won't try his luck with someone else. I can't stress enough how careful everyone should be when they're chatting to people on the Internet," he added.
