Wishing all a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2021
Instead of transferring high level officials the staff of inspector and below should be transferred every 6 months.

Like the income tax department most of the work like sending notices, receiving replies etc can be done from a remote location.Only in criminal cases the local police should be involved and the concept of "jurisdictional" police station investigating crime should be removed as in the same area both parties know each other very well. This will also remove political interference to some extent.

Fortunately Dakshina Kannada had postings of excellent IAS officers as DCs in recent times. They worked really worked sincerely for worked for welfare of the people. My pointed reference was towards Mr.Senthil who left IAS job a d we t back to his home state Chennai to join politicals.

During his time district had suffered heavy due to untimely floods but his eyes were open towards sufferings of rural poor.To remote villages during g floods he arranged boats to rescue people. Political difference is different , work ethic is different....
Govt should allow DCs and Police Commissioners to work in a place at least for three years...

Mr Vikas must have accidentally stepped on Toe of Corrupt Politician. He was strict with Covid Regulation which effected Bars and Hotels. Plus He was strict with Corrupt Builders regarding the Parking Violations. Mr Naleen should answer why Mr Vikas was transfered in such a Hurry. If questioned He will blame Congress as Usual Act.

Really aftet the exit of Sandeep Oatil we are yet to get a np nonsense police officer who worked hard to maimtain law and order. So much so he had even succeeded in reigining in the notorious city busses .Who ever succeeds ptesent incumbent has to first tackle the lawless bus mafia with a iron hand. Then only we can be sure of living in a smart city with out these terrors on the roads and their tyrannical masters.
