Dubai : 'Mooru Muthu' to Capture UAE Audience on Jun 25

Dubai, Jun 6: For the first time in the Gulf, Konkani Sahithya Academy Award winner Late K Balakrishna Pai’s ‘Roopakala Nataka Mandali’ is going to present their most acclaimed Kannada comedy family drama called ‘Mooru Muthu’ directed by Satish Pai on June 25th, 2010 at Emirates English School Auditorium, Dubai at around 4.30 pm.  The drama which has made history with successful record number of shows elsewhere in India will be presenting their 800th show in their maiden venture in Gulf.  This evergreen super hit drama which has been appreciated by each and every one who have viewed it in different parts of India have commented that this is a different kind of drama which has a blend of real comedy, tilting music, tickling dialogues, beautiful costumes bundled with best performance of each and every character to make it a unique package.

This unique package will be presented to the Kannadigas of UAE by Pravin Shetty of Fortune Hotel who has in the past sponsored various similar wonderful events in UAE.  Pravin Shetty a drama lover by himself who hails from Kundapore, where the troupe belongs to, has decided to present this great show ‘entrance free’ for all drama lovers of UAE in order to patronize the efforts of Roopakala Nataka Mandali in keeping the art alive.  However it is said that the first come first will be the seating arrangements and all are requested to be present prior to the start of the programme.  It is said that those who tend to laugh will get a special invitation whereas those who will not laugh will be awarded with a gift.  That means that ‘Mooru Muthu’ will not spare anyone in enjoying the rib tickling laughter.

Ashok Shanbhag, Satish Pai, Santosh Pai are part of the troupe of this drama who have excelled in some of the famous Kannada drama’s titled ‘Avanallo Evanu’, Naguvudho Aluvudho’, ‘Rama Lakshamana’, ‘Suicide Sundara’, ‘Dathu Puthra’, ‘Paapa Paandu’ etc., thus entertaining the Kannada theatre lovers.
