Mangaluru: Holy Shrine of Infant Jesus completes 25 years

Mangaluru, Jan 12: One of the icons in Mangaluru for Religion, Infant Jesus Shrine completed 25 years on Monday, January 11. All these years the Shrine has been an abode of peace and place to seek God’s favour. Irrespective of religions and caste, people have flocked to this holy Shrine. It is a place known for devotion to Infant Jesus and also a place of miracles. Most of the miracles have been the gift of a child, the parents have received. Many couples after losing hope in medicine, have visited the Shrine, prayed for the gift of a child and received this favour. 

The Shrine is also a place of miracles for other ailments. Many critical ailments have been cured miraculously. Fr Ivan D'Souza was the main celebrant of this Mass. Fr Charles Serao superior of Infant Jesus Shrine, Fr Lancy Louis, Fr Rovel D'Souza and others were present during this event.



Monday, January 11 was the seventh day of the Novena. Fr Maxon Dabre, Fr Ajith Rodrigues, Fr Lesly OP, Fr Alex, Fr Ivan D'Souza, Fr Jeevan Tauro were the main celebrant of the day. The day was dedicated to married couples. Many faithful received the blessings of the Lord.
