Mumbai: Elsie Gabriel bags Ocean Quest Global honour

Mumbai, Jan 25: Elsie Gabriel, a city-based environmentalist has been honoured with the Ocean Quest Global Ambassador for India title.

Gabriel runs Young Environmentalist programme Trust based in Powai has actively helped in the awareness for conservation of marine ecosystems.

Conferring the title, Anuar Abdullah, founder of Ocean Quest Global and an expert in the coral programme said, "We are happy to honour Elsie Gabriel. This ambassador programme is truly a recognition earned through the work and sacrifice of one to advocate, protect, conserve, and restore the earth's fragile environment."
