Puttur: St Philomena PU College conducts career guidance programme for science students

Puttur, Feb 26: Career Guidance Cell of St Philomena P U College organized Career Guidance programme for science students at Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall on February 26.

The president, Fr Vijay Lobo, principal, St Philomena P U College in his presidential remarks said that the students should design their future to reach their goal. He advised students to make the right decision and work hard as time and tide waits for none. He added that the students should be determined, committed and focused to flourish in their life.

The resource person, Kushalatha, councillor, Nitte University, Mangaluru encouraged students to pursue a course. She said that there are plenty of job opportunities and went ahead and educated the students about the various career opportunities available in a different field.

Govinda Prakash, dean of computer science and convenor of Career Guidance Cell welcomed the gathering. Rashi Rai (II PCMB 'D') compered and proposed the vote of thanks.
