Rs. 16 lakhs in a plastic bag hanging on the hook of the scooter! Even a fool would not dare to carry such a big amount of cash this way. Was his under-seat storage space too big to hold this money or was there something more expensive in it? And complaint filed 10 days later! Something is fishy.

Hard to believe, 16 Lakhs in a plastic bag and kept hanging on a hook and he claims to be going to purchase jewelry for marriage. Looks like an insider job who knew this uncle. Money may be much less than mentioned in article though

It looks like clear cut "insider trading" transaction. Which man with some common sense will carry such huge amount of cash in lousy plastic bag hung on clumsy Scooty hook....may be easy money...gone easy way......!!

In the modern era of digital transactions, why resort to cash dealings, unless the source of income is dubious? Delay in filing a case gives rise to obvious suspicions. Nevertheless, I sympathise with the victims as they have lost huge amount and that too some precious amount meant for the dress and ornaments of the bride.

Daal me kuch kaala hai. Why did he put 16.2 lacs in a plastic bag and hung it from the hook of scooter ? If it is true he is paying for his foolishness. He could have easily put it in the box under the seat of the scooter and locked it.

It is sad and most unfortunate that a scooterist lost Rs. 16.2 lac which was kept in his scooter. I hope the thieves are caught and the money recovered.
