Why in coastal place, farming, agriculture stopped which has been traditional and legacy of the past? What a human mindset that beating animal and racing so called culture event and traditional sport? If kambala sports is legacy and coastal culture, then it must be co-exist with paddy harvesting, active farming. 2 to 3 decades back agri farming was rich and most households were working in the fields. We couldn't deny then those Kambala events. Of late, it is irony that when farming, paddy agriculture is fading every passing day, how buffalo race can culture event? It almost that animals to grown up to run eventful race one day where organisers raise pool funding to run shows.
