Kuwait: KICC Organizes Raffle Draw for Cause

Kuwait, Aug 8: Kuwait Indian Cricket Club (KICC) organized a raffle in order to upgrade club facilities to attract more and more Indians here join the club and play a game that is close to their hearts, Cricket.

The raffle draw was held at Salmiya Garden, Kuwait in the presence of members and guests.

KICC president Victor Martis welcomed the gathering. Archie Menezes, Richard Menezes and T O Thomas were the chief guests.

Addressing the gathering, Archie Menezes in his speech stressed the importance to engage in sports. He said playing sports can have various advantages especially physical and mental fitness and also experience the inner peace.

The raffle draw was jointly conducted by KICC president Victor Martis and assistant secretary Praveen D’Souza. The lucky winners were picked up by the honorable guests.

Raffle results were as follows.

Sunil was adjudged first (Sheet # 89, Sr No 13), Ian Sanches second (Sheet # 55, Sr No 6), Sherwin Pereira third (Sheet # 21, Sr No 18) and Asoka Chitrani (Sheet # 03, Sr No. 19) fourth.

The highest raffle sheet sellers were honoured with gifts. While Praveen D’Souza and Ramesh Poojary came first, Walter D'Souza came second.
