Chikkamagaluru, May 19: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje on Wednesday May 19 said that people are reportedly advised in churches in Mudigere and Aldur of Malnad region, not to receive Covid vaccines.
She was speaking at a press meet in here on Wednesday May 19.
She said, “People are being misled when they visit the church. It should be probed who is misleading them. I am not saying that the Catholics have done this, but other denominations of Christianity like pentecost. People are being misled by the churches which have come recently. Proper action should be taken against them.”
Speaking on the toolkit issue, she said, “The Congress toolkit is an insult to the country. Congress is insulting the country stating India virus and ‘Modi virus’. Congress is hatching a strategy to defame the country before the world. This is the vote bank politics of Congress. Let us do politics during the elections, but this not a situation to do politics. China is the enemy of our country, but the Congress is talking against us more than China. Case should be booked against those who term Covid as ‘Modi virus’ and India virus.”
