Bengaluru: Educational institution founder, two children die in fire accident

Bengaluru, Jun 13: Sooryanarayana Bhat (54), founder of S N Bhat group of educational institutions, suffered severe burns in a fire accident and breathed his last in a hospital. His two children also died in the tragedy.

Popularly known with the name, SNB, Bhat had founded S N Coaching Center, S N PU College and S N degree college.

S N Bhat was a native of Thirthahalli in the Shivamogga district. He had come to the city three decades back, after which he founded the educational institutions. Bengaluru (south) MP, Tejasvi Surya, was one of Bhat's students.
