Mangalore: Lord Ganesh-Shaped Apple Evoke Curiosity on Chaturthi

Mangalore, Sep 12: On Saturday September 11, Ganesh Chaturthi day, Sudhakar Shenoy found an apple in the shape of Lord Ganesh at B V Lane.
Speaking to Daijiworld, he said that he had got a box full of apples to distribute to the people as ‘prasad’ after completing worship of Lord Ganesh, but he was overjoyed when he found the apple in the shape of the deity .
Shenoy has kept the ‘apple Ganesh’ on the silver throne in the prayer room where the apple was also accorded due respect as the clay idol of Lord Ganesh. He was happy that he got the apple on such an auspicious day.
He added that such shapes are common in vegetables like potatoes but in an apple it was unique.
