Fully vaccinated travellers with residency permits from India can enter UAE from Aug 5

Dubai, Aug 3: National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced on Tuesday August 3 that travellers from six countries are fully vaccinated and those holding valid UAE residency permits, will now be allowed entry into the UAE from August 5.

Travellers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria and Uganda, can now enter UAE. Passenger flights from these countries are still on hold for now.

NCEMA added that at least 14 days should have passed after receiving the second vaccine dose and the travellers will need to carry a vaccination certificate.

    I was vaccinated in the trial phase of the Sinopharm vaccine in August and September 2020 in the UAE, and so no vaccination card was issued to me however my al hosn application shows my vaccination dates. I also have a certificate of appreciation from the health center where I got vaccinated in physical form. Will I be able to travel?

    Presently Indian produced vaccines not approved . Government or pharma company needs to share their profit with UAE government.

    Important information Important travel guidelines for passengers to Dubai UAE nationals, residents, others holding any type of visa or seeking visa on arrival shall be allowed to travel UAE residents who have Dubai issued residence visa must obtain GDRFA approval before travelling through https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Smart_OTCServicesPortal/ReturnPermitService.aspx UAE residents holding residence visa issued through any other emirate are required to upload their Emirates ID number, passport, and nationality on https://uaeentry.ica.gov.ae/ to verify the authenticity of their travel. In order to be able to travel, customers must show a green status against their registration details on above website Customers holding a valid UAE residence visa and have lived outside the UAE for 180 days, their residence visa shall become invalid and will have to apply for a new visa in order to re-enter the UAE UAE residents whose visa have expired cannot enter even if they have GDRFA approval, with the exception that if they are of the nationalities that are entitled to obtain a visa on arrival or have new visas for the nationalities that require them to obtain a visa Indian nationals intending to travel to Dubai on Visit or tourist visa or looking to obtain visa on arrival shall be required to be in possession of a valid return ticket Seamen shall be allowed to travel to Dubai with all necessary documents such as passport, CDC booklet, Guarantee letter, Ok to Board Letter and should be in possession of valid 96Hrs transit visa. Seamen intending to travel beyond UAE are currently not permitted to travel on our flights Customers must carry a negative PCR certificate in printed form, from a government-approved laboratory in India (ICMR) or a certified designated laboratory which is available on https://www.icmr.gov.in/ issued no more than 48 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Dubai. The certificate issued shall be duly signed and stamped by relevant authorities and must only be in English or Arabic. Handwritten certificates shall not be permitted. 48Hours is calculated from the time of sample collection The negative PCR certificate held by the customer must have a QR code on it linking it to their original test report and must have the date and time of sample collection and the test result mentioned accurately. Customers holding a negative PCR certificate without a QR code shall be denied boarded at the origin station Note: Children under 12 years are exempted from Pre-COVID test UAE Nationals are not required to conduct PCR test before arriving into Dubai however shall undergo mandatory a RTPCR test on arrival All customers must undergo a PCR test upon arrival into Dubai as well All customers transiting Dubai, are not required to present a COVID 19 PCR test certificate unless it is mandated by their final destination Transit/transfer beyond UAE will not be permitted

    You have summed up everything. One more thing, there is mention of 'residents vaccinated in UAE'. It keeps the status of those who are vaccinated India in abiguity!

    Yes. As of now only those passengers who have taken both the doses in UAE are allowed to travel. Five vaccines are approved for use in the UAE: >> Pfizer-BioNTech >> Sinopharm >> Oxford-AstraZeneca >> Moderna >> Sputnik V

    It's the general rule of UAE , and you from Sharjah should have been aware of it. If anyone with resident visa stays out of UAE for more than 6 months then that visa will automatically gets nullified in the system.

    As per the news all vaccinated residents can fly. Unvaccinated residents is approved for givernment and vital sectors. Anyone planning to fly please check with your travel agents as the flights are already getting full as per oir conversation with one of the operator.

    All with valid uae visa and are vaccinated with both doses can travel. The following categories can travel even if they are not vaccinated. >> Health workers employed in the UAE. These include doctors, nurses and technicians >> Those working in the UAE’s education sector: Universities, colleges, schools and institutes >> Students in the country >> Humanitarian cases who hold valid residency >> Those employed in federal and local government agencies
