Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Sep 29: The administrations of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and Kasargod districts, with the help of the police department, have begun initiatives to tighten the law and order machinery to ensure that there will not be any unsavoury incidents during the week end. Although instructions relating to location of contingents of different divisions within the police department and prohibitory orders are expected to be issued in Dakshina Kannada district later today, the concerned have taken precautionary measures in view of the expected delivery of verdict in land dispute in Ayodhya on Thursday September 30.

The state government, in the meanwhile, has not declared holiday for banks and government offices on September 30 and October 1. The banks will however, remain closed on September 30 because of half-year ending work, and again on October 2, as holiday has been declared on account of Gandhiji’s birth anniversary.

In Udupi district, the deputy commissioner has banned sale of liquor with effect from 6 am on September 30 to midnight on October 2. The intervening days have been declared as dry days. Public processions, victory processions, observation of black day, protest marches, public meetings, sale and burning of crackers have also been banned during the said period. District superintendent of police (SP), Pravin Madhukar Pawar, has already assigned different duties to three deputy SPs, nine circle inspectors, 28 sub-inspectors, home guards, Karnataka State Reserve Police contingents and District Armed Reserve Police force.

I think the place should be neither given to hindhus nor the Muslims but should be used to build a stadium or a orphanage or a old aged home.....

We are not bothered about the verdict, neither we are waiting nor interested in it. We are as we are and as we will be. We are showing our fraternity with all the human beings who are present on the earth. There is no politics in dealing with human beings and whould not be.

With Ayodhya verdict for Ram Janam Bhoomi Babri Masjid dispute all set for 3.30 PM on Sep 30 2010 Time has come for everyone to read, recite, propagate and remember Kabir Das immortal saying about God and religion:
"Moko Kahan Dhundhere Bande Mein To Tere Paas Mein, Na Teerath Mein, Na Moorat Mein Na Ekant Niwas Mein, Na Mandir Mein, Na Masjid Mein Na Kabe Kailas Mein, Mein To Tere Paas Mein Bande Mein To Tere Paas Mein, Na Mein Jap Mein, Na Mein Tap Mein Na Mein Barat Upaas Mein, Na Mein Kiriya Karm Mein Rehta Nahin Jog Sanyas Mein, Nahin Pran Mein Nahin Pind Mein Na Brahmand Akas Mein
Na Mein Prakuti Prawar Gufa Mein Nahin Swasan Ki Swans Mein, Khoji Hoye Turat Mil Jaoon Ik Pal Ki Talas Mein, Kahet Kabir Suno Bhai Sadho Mein To Hun Viswas Mein." English Translation goes as:
Where do you search me? I am with you
Not in pilgrimage, nor in icons, Neither in solitudes
Not in temples, nor in mosques Neither in Kaba nor in Kailash
I am with you o man, I am with you
Not in prayers, nor in meditation, Neither in fasting
Not in yogic exercises, Neither in renunciation
Neither in the vital force nor in the body, Not even in the ethereal space
Neither in the womb of Nature, Not in the breath of the breath
Seek earnestly and discover, In but a moment of search
Says Kabir, Listen with care, Where your faith is, I am there.
