Bangalore: No Dissidence in Party, says CM
Bangalore, Oct 6 (DHNS): Chief minister Yeddyurappa has said he will come out of the Agni Parikshe successfully. Stating that there is no dissidence in the party, he ruled out chances of the Cabinet reshuffle.
“Yeddyurappa has the capacity to face any number of Agni Parikshe”, he told press persons in Bangalore on Wednesday.
He said he spoke to the MLAs, who had been to Chennai, over phone. They had agreed to return to Bangalore and meet him soon.
“The MLAs have not put any demand. There is no dissidence in the party. We are all united,” he said. He maintained that there was no need to attribute significance to their visit to Chennai.
Yeddyurappa refused to comment on the Governor’s report to the Centre on land scam. The Governor has done his duty, he said.
Meeting
The chief minister held a meeting with senior officers at the (KPCL head quarters). Urban Development minister Suresh Kumar, Chief Secretary S V Ranganath, Revenue secretary V Madhu, BDA commissioner Bharatlal Meena and Secretary for Industries (Mining) B S Ram Prasad attended the meeting.
It is said that the Chief Minister convened meeting of the officers of prime departments to get prepared for the special session of the legislature so that the Opposition parties can be countered well over scams.
