I read with great interest the report about 15th house under Snehalaya’s outreach program. Sunitha D’Souza, single mother with two sons, with one 18-year-old handicapped and bed-ridden. The photo with the mother carrying her inert handicapped son and her younger son cutting the ribbon speaks 10,000 words (as the Chinese proverb said of a moving picture), about her enduring spirit and the helping hand of Snehalaya’s founder Brother Joseph Crasta, Lion’s Club- Mangaluru, and local church and convent authorities. Despite her handicaps, Sunitha’s and her younger son’s dignified bearing on the reported occasion is laudable. Discerning readers will observe the high construction and furnishing standards starting from the main door, the kitchen and other interiors. This has been noted by Vasant as reported by Daiji. Aptly Santosh D’Souza has been noted. I would like to make a token donation to Sunitha if I am told to which bank a/c it could be credited.
