Mangaluru, Nov 15: “Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sharan Pumpwell needs money from the Muslim community but he do not need their youths,” said Biruver Kudla in reaction to Sharan Pumpwell’s statement that Biruver Kudla backs Muslim youths who attacked Hindu youths at Ballalbagh.

Addressing media here on Monday November 15, Lakshmish, convenor, Biruver Kudla said, “Biruver Kudla is formed for the sake of social service. Biruver Kudla is actively involved in social service since seven years and helped by providing over Rs 3.5 crore to the needy. Sharan Pumpwell has spoken against Biruver Kudla in a derogatory manner. We will fight against it legally.”

Deepu Shettigar of Biruver Kudla said, “Sharan Pumpwell has made a lot of money through Muslim organizations. Sharan Pumpwell who fights in the name of Hindutva wants the money from Muslims, but do not need their youths. Biruver Kudla is helping the needy since several years and worked to unite people in Ballalbagh. We have not divided people like Sharan Pumpwell."
