Sullia: Youth held for faking to be Hindu, misbehaving with girl

Sullia, Nov 16: The police here have taken a youth into custody on the basis of a complaint filed by a lady. The girl claimed that the youth falsely told her that he was a Hindu, earned her trust, moved around with her and behaved indecently.

The youth who got introduced to the girl through a social website two months back, had mentioned his name as Kaushal. The girl stated that he asked her to come to Sullia on November 11 and she obliged. He took her by motorbike to Madikeri. Overlooking her objections, he reportedly led her to a park where he behaved with her in improper manner. He also revealed that he was a Muslim and posed murder threat to the girl.

It is said that the arrested youth claimed that his real name is Tasleem, he is from Madikeri and that he happens to be an engineering student. Further investigation is on.

    Great job this guy was caught earlier. Be careful while supporting such acts. Keralites were gifted with Sonia Sebastin as Ayesha, Nimisha and Fathima, Merin Jacob as Miriam. They disappeared and eventually found in Afghanisthan. There whereabouts today are not known .

    I hope the law gives this guys a strict punishment . Its the common factor here and not concocted . If thats the case, even smuggling gold in the rextum, adventure with young boys and even goats are all concocted .

    Thali dono haath se bajthi hai. It looks boy doesn't interested in girl anymore or the issue must be something else which might take the girl to lodge complaint against the boy with fabricated stories. The best solution is to tie nuptial knot in ‘virtual nikah’ convincing both the families in order to normalize state of affairs. The hindu think tankers must ponder over seriousty why even educated girls of their community attracted towards muslim boys.

    Looks you didnt read my comment properly. We are not here to bargain overthe issue of your community my community.. Offence is a offence regardless of the person belong to any community. Here the complaint lodged by girl seems one sided and fabricated. I dont think any sane or cultured girl trust a stranger and go alone with long ride even if the boy belong to her community she cannot decieve her parents.Both boy and girl are equally responsibles for inconvenient develooment

    Looks like a concocted story. Love failure could be the reason to take action based on such concocted story to make a case stronger. If she is saying truth, the only proof she can prove in court is Screen shot or video of the social media profile of the boy through which they communicated. If there ain't proof then it's gonna be waste of time for girl. I really don't understand why on earth there is a need for love towards other community members when we all know that there are so much of ongoing tensions. Why these youngsters donot understand the gravity of the situation. Although there is no law in the world that says one should only love from the same community... Anybody can get atrracted to any other person.
