Udupi, Nov 17: The first exclusive ‘HP World’ outlet of the city was inaugurated on Wednesday November 17, at ground floor, Karthik Kishore Apartment, opposite government hospital, Ajjarkad here.
Sai Baba Rao, president, Federation of IT Dealers’ Association, Karnataka, inaugurated the outlet. Syriac Syriac, area sales manager, HP India Pvt Ltd, Ketan Chandrana, former president MITDA, Sudhir Shetty, former secretary of MITDA, Jagadish Shetty, treasurer of MITDA, Sr Rachana, principal, St Cecilia’s PU College, Sr Sunitha Monteiro, Sr Mayola, Sandhya and Sujai Monteiro, proprietor, Computer Agencies and Technical Services were present.
The store will have a wide range of laptops, desktops, printers and accessories, thus providing various options to individuals to plan their purchases. Computer Agencies and technical Services (CATS) has been associated with the brand HP for 15 years.
The first exclusive store was inaugurated in Mangaluru a decade ago. The second store has been inaugurated in Udupi now and very shortly the third exclusive showroom will come up at Forum Fiza Mall in Mangaluru. They are planning to expand to other cities also.
Their HP exclusive store in Mangaluru is currently the best performing upcountry store in Karnataka. Widely known as CATS, they basically started with system integration catering to various educational Institutions in and around Mangaluru and Udupi.
