Udupi: Repealing of farm laws has nothing to do with elections - Kota Srinivas Poojary

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Nov 19: Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, stated that there is a possibility of the controversial farm acts being withdrawn by the central government. He also said that these acts are likely to be tabled again in a revised form. He also said that the repealing of the laws has nothing to do with elections. Poojary made this statement in the city on Friday November 19.

The minister said that he will give his response to the development after studying the entire issue in detail. He however, asserted that this has no link with the election.

"The acts were clearly favourable for the farmers and agricultural market committees. The acts were meant to make the farmers financially sound. Because of certain points raised, the laws are likely to be re-introduced with modifications. In a democracy there is nothing like bending or getting defeated. Many a time in the past, acts have been modified. There are chances of the act being brought back in a better form. The act had been passed with good intentions and they are also being withdrawn with the purpose of adding further good intentions to the acts. In short, the laws are meant to protect the interests of the farmers," he stated.

Really, it is not for election then what? Did your guru suddenly fall in low with poor farmers, after kicking them on their stomach and killing 700 farmers? Your guru's hands are soaked in innocent blood. Every step he takes is a U-turn step for most dangerous ulterior motive and nothing else. The world has recognized this fact about our current regime. Unfortunately, you cannot bribe them to say otherwise!

Of course it is not about elections. The government had sudden sympathy for the poor farmers and decided to not to ruin them further in order to make some rich people richer.

for the last one year our PM was arrogant and he never bothered to meet the farmers. Now elections are coming shortly in UP, Panjab where he wants to grab the power hook and crook means using EVM. That's reason this all drama he wants to do and trying to fool the farmers, general public. Our people should not believe this act and they should think twice before going to VOTE

Withdrawal of black farm laws (or at least the promise of withdrawal) and a small reduction in petrol prices is ONLY and ONLY because of the poor performance in the byepolls and the fear of a massive defeat in the forthcoming 5 state polls. Kota Poojari is only lyeing. And he knows well that he is not telling the truth. True BJP man. ಪಟಾಕಿ ಬುಡ್ಲೆ. ಕೇಣ್ಯೆರೆ ಖುಸಿ ಆಪುಂಡ್.
