Bengaluru, Dec 20: The draft of the controversial anti-conversion bill prepared by Basavaraj Bommai-led BJP government has been cleared by the State Cabinet at its meeting held in Belagavi on Monday.

The bill, envisaging stringent provisions for forced or induced religious conversions, is likely to be tabled in the ongoing State Legislature Session.

The Karnataka Right to Freedom of Religious Bill, 2021 seeks to prohibit conversion from one religion to another religion by 'misrepresentation, force, fraud, undue influence, coercion, allurement or marriage'.

The Bill says that any aggrieved person, parents, brother, sister or any other person related by blood, marriage or adoption can file first information report against such an act.

It has penal provisions that states that imprisonment will not be less than 3 years and can extend up to 10 years, and fine ranges from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 10 lakh.

A Christian must be happy on this too and no need to worry. Don't even bother, let the Lord God take care. Await and ready for the Lord's coming..... When things go anti constitutional and whosoever supports such acts by default become anti national.

The blood of innocent Christian men and women will be on the head of this government. The same law is implemented in Madhya Pradesh, where based only the complaints of Bajrang Dal and VHP members, elderly church pastors and leaders are being arrested and put in prison. They then have to struggle for bail. There is no requirement of proving any forced conversions. One is presumed guilty unless proven otherwise and a tragic drama is being played in our justice system against Indian citizens. The blood of the Catholic priest Stan Swamy is already on their head, now let's see how far they are ready and willing to go and seek God's wrath on them and their children.

Ghar Wapsi ? Is majority decision is binding if it violates the constitution, especially if the majority passes a resolution turning minority into 2nd class citizens? That is only possible if the country is declared as a theocratic state. Current ruling govt has the majority to so, yet they have not taken any steps to declare the country Into a Hindu Rashtra. Do they want to have the cake and eat it too and preach about democracy in international forums? Do they not realise that democracy means democratic rights for everybody which also includes right to exercise free will for all especially for the Hindus. Instead they make Hindus insecure and make them loose self- control and lead them to self-destruction. 2) There is only one God for He is almighty. Religion is how one understands God. There were no Christians before Bible was written, no Muslims before Quran was written, no Hindu before Vedas were written. Ghar wapsi can be achieved only when people pray to God “lead me to the truth” and guided by God. Let God only say If there are many ways to salvation and guide people accordingly. What if there are more than one God? One look at the war-torn countries in the recent times certainly shows that it is not worth going to heaven as wars between gods can make life unbearable in heaven. This is again a strong reason why insecure people should pray to God “Lead me to the truth “ What about those who do not believe that God exist? Well if a person who believes in God finds on his death that God does not exist, there will be no harm except his prayers are a waste. What if God really exists? What a sight it will be for those who do not believe God exists.

We thought education helps people to think wisely for common good of every one but in India things started going reverse whereas even middle eastern nations turns Liberal for religions. Government need to allow voluntary conversions. Many Hindus went to Western countries converted themselves to Christianity for economic benefits. Krishna became Chris Shyam became Sam Rama became Ron Saraswati became Sara Soumya became Somi list is endless. There is absolutely nothing wrong as every human being has the right to live better life. Please don't stop this by way of anti conversion bill.

Western countries don't provide any economic benefits for the converts, neither do Christian organisations in India provide any special benefits for those converting to Christianity. This is just a mere suspicion which will never be proved upon enacting anti-conversion law.

The impact of Indian culture was profound, especially in parts of Burma (Myanmar), Thailand, Cambodia, and the Indonesian archipelago. Local rulers adopted concepts of state and kingship as well as urban development and hydraulic engingeering. They also embraced a script and literature in the Sanskrit language. Besides, Such culture is spreading inWestern countries tooincluding USA. Why can't these countries follow some restrictions to check or control their people being influemce by alien Hindu faith. Bommai must divert his mind towards these aspects too. Not always attacking Cristian faith and over looking the impact of Yoga and Hinduim on the people o forei gn countries too. When you do its chanatkar and when others follow its balathkar. Cowdung brain

Vijay, whatever you questioned in your comment is Greek for these lafangas. The current tirade and rules brought on the miniscule of 2% community is nothing but vote bank politics. I was not aware that the Hindu's 85% population are so weak in their faith, that the decreasing population of Christians has become such a major threat to their faith! LOL. The same shameless politicians have no qualms in using these Christian institutions - Educational, medical, charitable to look after their families needs!

The Bible declares clearly : Don't Touch My Beloved. Unless Jesus draws you near, no one can change. Salvation comes through faith and conviction not by compulsion. The contribution of Christianity is immense. From printing press to the latest technology. You all are using them and have no sense of gratitude at all. Why do you need cars, you can ride by Bullock carts because cars were manufactured by Christian countries! Oh and you use mobile phones and of course The English language given by the Christians and you cry foul play! Hypocrisy at it's best. But we know Jesus has the final say and we will see victory!

No one gets converted until and unless heavenly father want that person. If God has chosen nobody can stop him or her!! Jesus makes it very clear in John 6:44 Nobody can come to me unless heavenly father draws him or her to me I heard so many testimonies of non Christian people. They say they accepted Jesus their god and saviour after reading their religious books. Therefore no fear any bills you bring. We give the battle to Jesus For sure victory is ours. St. Paul also tells we are the citizens of heaven not of this world. This world is belong to you guys. We are preparing for the eternal world. You are doing as you like as if you are permanent on this planet. Anyway good luck for all politicians. Thank you very much.
