Mangalore, Dec 1:  Addressing a press conference in the city on Tuesday November 30, Mangalore Association of Travel Agents informed that ‘Mangalore Traevl Mart 2010’ exhibition is being organized at Milagres Jubilee Hall in the city from December 2 to 4, 2010.

The city holds immense tourist potential, having been equipped with all the ingredients like diverse cultures, historic and modern temples and monuments, churches and mosques, beaches, rivers, sea, fishing activity etc., to become a successful tourist centre.  However, an all out effort to make full use of this potential has not been made so far because of various reasons, prominent among them being lack of coordination between different departments of the government and agencies.

‘Mangalore Travel Mart 2010’, exhibition aims at showcasing the potential of the region towards stimulating travel, tourism, hospitality, leisure and other related industries, within the country . Mangalore Travel Mart provides a single platform for national organizations, people from tour, travel, tourism, aviation, hospitality, transportation and other fields to come together and bring out suggestions and solutions towards faster development of the industry. Mangalore Travel Mart is the only business point for everyone to exchange their business ideas, generate and review their business contacts, find potential joint venture partners, get publicity and launch new packages, products and services, have face-to-face interactions and direct booking with the customers on the spot. The main aim of Mangalore Travel Mart is to boost tourism at in the city as well as the country, develop relationships, business contacts and joint ventures, in a supportive ambience and festive surrounding that would facilitate the beginning of a new era of a mutually beneficial business relationships, they said.




MTM EXHIBITOR'S PROFILE

MTM Exhibitors are associated with India and state tourism boards, railways, cruise lines, travel and  tour planners and organizers, travel agencies, hotels and resorts, hill stations, beaches, health and Ayurvedic resorts, adventure sports, eco tourism, travel-related services, banks, car rental associations, etc., informed representatives of the exhibition organizers.

The event is being organized by Mangalore Association of Travel Agents.
