What the public servants are doing here is stealing! If the matter goes to the Supreme Court, we will hear that the Customs must charge the "tax" amount on the gold, but not "steal" the gold. Sadly, the people affected do not have the capacity to take the matter to the Supreme Court. The First World countries never resort to stealing from their citizens. It is a FIFTH WORLD disease. Shame!

Excellent detection. Specifically this modus operandi operated by northern Keralites. Most unassuming that too in small quantity. But in a single flight there may be minimum 10 to 50 passengers!. Alert all airports. Lure is free tickets to & fro as per the quantity. Organised system of trade with ticketing.

No prizes for guessing the passengers place and of course the name. Its always the common factor who even go upto the extent of smuggling gold in their rextums.
