Udupi: Young volleyball player from Hebri ends life, depression suspected

Udupi, Feb 1: A 30-year-old sports person from Hebri committed suicide for reasons unknown on Monday, January 31 midnight.

The deceased Prashanth alias Pacchua, a resident of Kelapete Sherigarbettu in Hebri was a volleyball player.

Reportedly, Perashanth was suffering from severe depression for a long time. He took the extreme step last night.

Apart from being an active volleyball player, he was also known for playing Thaase (used during Kola). People knew him as a humble person.

A case has been registered in Hebri police station.
