Fresh Covid cases drop to 14,366 in Karnataka, 58 deaths reported in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, Feb 1: Karnataka on Tuesday, February 1 registered 14,366 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 1,97,725. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 6,685.

As many as 58 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Tuesday, the death toll in the state has risen to 39,056.

The state recorded 60,914 discharges from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total discharges to 35,87,022.

So far, Karnataka has seen 38,23,833 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 13.45% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.40 %.

As many as 9,57,09,217 people have received vaccination so far.

    when last heard karela was reporting national record 50000 infections per day in third wave.... what is the figure now... so long thalapdi border is open, karela will impact DK n Udupi districts...

    Fraud WHO led by Fraud Tedros and fraud technical lead are responsible of creating Covid pandemic by creating virus intentionally from wuhan lab....These WHO criminals are ready to create new pandemic called NeoCov to make profits for hospitals and pharma industry....These WHO criminals should be arrested and should be under life imprisonment for mishandling pandemic and also creating this covid virus intentionally.....WHO should take responsibility for these deaths in world..If WHO informed all the countries to implement lockdown and international flights bans at the initial stage of pandemic from Jan 2020, then covid would have been zero by now in the world
