See a lot of comments here which seems immature. Looks like a fight between students here. People comments abt cowdungs and cows being safe need to understand their forefathers were Hindus and should respect that fact and then post mature comments here.

Who knows rowdies are locals or Karalites? Latter generally avoid violence or confrontations. Ultimately our institution needs money from other states students and do not want the students presence! Wow, communal behaviour has already percolated into some colleges. Hardly any such situations in Medical college since students need to devout more time on studies. Most people have forgotten...an Indian can buy land in any state, drive in any state. Its our India...united by patriotism and may be divided by culture! All these pettist students regret their behaviour when they reach high and dry on educational qualification!

This is near Shri Devi College near Ballalbagh. This area is almost like a mini-Kerala. Maybe the students had a clash with some local youths from the RW political party and tensions escalated & this was the outcome. Police should arrest those people brandishing swords and creating panic. This is ridiculous! Hate filled environment causing all these things! Looks like Karnataka is becoming the new UP!

ballalbagh and barke are notorious for criminals since 1980s...lots of thotte uppad parties are there..but as they belong to nationalist groups they are not arrested nor treated sternly by the saffron police...so sometimes they come out of the hideout...otherwise most of them have drugs and fall near urwa maket or bokkapatna areas..

Kuch bhi bakhte ho. This was my most frequented area during the 1970s & 80s. Those days Lalbagh – Ballalbagh were very peaceful, serene rural type areas with many tiled houses, a few paddy fields, small shops and gadang. There was no Saibeen Complex, Big Bazar and KSRTC Bus Stand. More importantly no menace from BD, VHP, SDPI or PFI.

Gangsters & Rowdyism by College students ? Heard about rival gangs (students) using hockey sticks or fist fights but armed with swords is enough to show that todays youth has gone wayward and least bothered about the law of the land. Some educational institutions give weight for uniform in PU college and to shun veils by Muslim ladies and look at the college students engaged in fights with swords !

This is the result of what they have been taught and heard in Malappuram about Mangalapuram. If such a trend is allowed to continue there can be a Mumbai type situation of the early 1970s.

These elements were brought in by the Vadra Congress that was ruling the state in the past prior 2018. They managed to hood wink the local authorities due to political clout with the Congress on assurance of vote bank. The sachivas played a very important role. Past records were not checked. They have settled in abundance here. Now its their pay back time with the true colours coming out.
